Well Freddy’s back to bring nightmares to a whole new generation and NECA have just released 2 new Freddy figures, the Nightmare on Elm Street 2010 Freddy is available as a stand alone figure and as a 2 pack figure nightmare on elm street 2010 figure.

I really cannot believe it’s been Twenty-six years after the original and i’m really starting to feel my age.  A Nightmare on Elm Street was the only film that really did give me nightmares, unfortunately none of the sequels ever lived up to the original, (although I do have a soft spot for Nightmare on Elm Street 3: The Dream Warriors)  but the Elm Street series really is part of cinema history.
 
Now just like every other film it seems, A Nightmare on Elm Street is getting a brand new reboot and going back to the original courtesy of director Samuel Bayer and New Line Cinema.

Taking on the iconic Freddy role is actor Jackie Earle Haley, perhaps best known as Rorschach from The Watchmen. To honor the release of the film and the rebirth of this cultural icon, NECA is proud to unveil new Freddy figures.

The NECA Nightmare on Elm Street 2010 figures features two different versions of the Freddy Kruger character: One before he is burned and one after. Pre-fire Freddy Krueger figure comes with an interchangeable right hand, and razor-glove Freddy comes with that famous weapon and two interchangeable heads. Each of the new 2010 Freddy figures stands just under 7″ tall and is fully poseable.
